Area Girl Scout Leaders gathered at Spruce Creek Campground for a special camping training May 19 & 20. They will now be ready to teach their scouts camping skills as well as take them on camping trips. The Dolgeville Scouts will take part in their summer day camp program: Camp Okee Dokee, here at Spruce Creek in July. We look forward to seeing all the girls in action!
Update: Girl Scout Camp Okee Dokee will be July 15-17 from 9-3 at Spruce Creek Campground! The leaders are expecting 51 Girl Scouts to participate in the next 3 days of learning camping skills, creating crafts, playing games, and enjoying nature. Sunday night will be a campout for the older girls to put their newly learned skills to use.
