Spruce Creek is family owned and operated by Joseph & Donna Novak. Located at the foothills of the Adirondacks, in Herkimer County, New York, in the Town of Salisbury, the 35 acre property is bordered by nearly a mile along Spruce Creek, a NYS-stocked brown trout stream, on the former Youker farmstead purchased in 1947 by Earl & Nina Youker. In 2009, Joseph, retired service member & Donna, retired teacher, invested with Lois to build and operate Spruce Creek Campground—which had been a long-held dream for Lois which she was able to see realized prior to her death in June 2017 at the age of 84.
It's our desire to preserve and share with our campers the tranquil natural surroundings that we've inherited as well as continue to expand our facility to better meet the needs of our campers. We value the partnerships developed with our campers and appreciate their guidance as we grow together.
